Position Overview

Mahindra University is seeking dedicated and responsible Hostel Wardens to oversee the smooth functioning, discipline, and welfare of students residing in the University hostels. The Warden will play a crucial role in ensuring safety, order, and a supportive environment for hostel residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day hostel management and ensure discipline, safety, and security.
• Process entry/exit permissions and maintain accurate records of residents.
• Manage room allotments and address room change requests efficiently.
• Supervise hostel staff and ensure timely resolution of maintenance or service-related issues.
• Act as the first point of contact for student grievances, welfare, and counseling needs.
• Monitor and proactively address cases of indiscipline, ragging, or misconduct in accordance with University policies.
• Ensure implementation of hostel rules and regulations while fostering a positive living environment.
• Be available to respond promptly to emergencies or urgent hostel-related matters.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate in any discipline; preference for candidates with experience in administration, student affairs, or hostel management.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role (educational institutions preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deal with young adults effectively.
• Ability to handle conflicts and crises with maturity, discretion, and firmness.
• Willingness to reside within the hostel campus and be available for round-the-clock responsibilities when required.
