The Centre for Sustainability is committed to driving impactful sustainability education, research and action within and outside Mahindra University. With the vision of building a better, more equitable world where human beings live in harmony with nature, the Centre embraces a holistic approach addressing environmental, social, and economic dimensions to enable a resilient future.
The Centre offers a diverse array of courses that cover multiple facets of sustainability—from environmental stewardship and resource management to social equity and sustainable business practices. The sustainability experience in the University is designed to equip students with an understanding of sustainability challenges and familiarity with solutions, ensuring that they are future-ready to lead and innovate in whichever context they find themselves in.
The Centre facilitates interactive learning through research projects and exposure to sustainability practice in the real world. It is a hub for integrative multi-disciplinary appreciation of issues and encourages system thinking to arrive at practical solutions for complicated problems.
