Bajaj Engineering Skills Training (BEST) Centre
Overview
The Bajaj Engineering Skills Training (BEST) Centre at Mahindra University is a collaborative initiative with Bajaj Auto Limited aimed at bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements.
Established as the first BEST Centre in a private institution in Telangana, the centre focuses on equipping students with industry-ready skills in advanced manufacturing, Industry 4.0, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and firmware development. The centre integrates hands-on training, industry-designed curriculum, and real-world project experience to prepare students for careers in core engineering industries.

- Total intake: 120 students per semester
- Duration: 5 months (internship-based)
- Admissions : Two times year (Jan and July)

The centre will support in placements for students who are trained and certified from the above programme
The training will focus on hands-on and skill-based training pedagogy. It fosters the use of laboratories and project-based training, continuous assessments as well as course end exams for every programme, industry visits (for adequate industry exposure), guest lectures from industries and industry relevant projects.
