Dr. Venkatasubramanian K is a biomedical engineering researcher with 17+ years of experience in Brain–Machine Interfaces, EEG/EMG analysis, deep learning, and human–machine interaction systems. His work focuses on developing innovative methods for biosignal analysis with applications in eye disorder detection, driver alertness monitoring, and cognitive state assessment.
He holds a Ph.D. in Biosignal Processing from the University of Otago, New Zealand, and has completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Western University, Canada. His academic career includes positions at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, VIT Chennai, and Saranathan College of Engineering.
Committed to advancing health-focused technologies, he actively collaborates with researchers and mentors students passionate about innovation in biomedical signal processing and neurotechnology, and building embedded systems for healthcare
