Dr. Odelu Vanga received his Ph.D. degree in Theoretical Computer Science (Cryptography and Network Security) and M.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Data Processing, both from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, India. He received a CSIR-Junior Research Fellowship during his M.Tech. degree. He also completed his Master of Science (MSc) degree in Applied Mathematics from Kakatiya University, Warangal, Telangana, India.
He was in the Organizing Chair of the International Conference on Mining Intelligence and Knowledge Exploration (MIKE-2019). Also, was in the Track Chair for the Intelligent Security Systems (MIKE-2017 & 2018), and a Member of the Advisory Committee for MIKE-2018.

His current research interests include cryptography, network security, Internet of Things, and blockchain technology. He has authored over 70 papers in international journals and conferences.
Achievements:
Some of his achievements include being elevated to the grade of IEEE Senior member in 2022. He was listed in the World’s Top 2% Scientists Rankings in 2022, 2023, and 2024 (Stanford University and Elsevier). He has been awarded Outstanding Potential for Excellence in Research and Academics (OPERA) by BITS-Pilani, India. He was selected as an Outstanding Young Foreign Scholar “Korean Research Fellowship (KRF-2017)” by the Korean Government (Global competition amongst 15 participants.
