Dr. P. Ravi Kumar is an Assistant Professor of English at Mahindra University. He has a Ph.D. in English Language Education from The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), Hyderabad. He has authored four books and developed teaching materials for MOOCS, EMMRC, EFLU and Orient Blackswan Publications. His research areas include Teacher Professional Development, Developing Teaching Materials and Teaching of Language Skills. He also offered training programmes in language proficiency and competency to teachers of different schools and colleges in Andhra Pradesh and Telangna.

Jahnavi Yarlagadda is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Mahindra University. She completed her Ph.D. in Transportation Systems Engineering from IIT Hyderabad. She received master’s degree in Transportation Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, and bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from JNTU, Kakinada. She majorly worked on the road traffic safety and driver behavior in naturalistic driving environment. The integration of human behavioral aspects in the road safety analysis and identification of driving patterns using machine learning techniques were the prominent research highlights of her doctoral study. Her articles have appeared in peer reviewed journals like Accident Analysis & Prevention, and Journal of Advanced Transportation. Dr. Gouthami Kothakapa is an Assistant Professor in Economics at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Mahindra University École Centrale School of Engineering.

She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati and an Integrated M.A. in Economics from the University of Hyderabad. Prior to joining Mahindra University, she worked as Assistant Professor at NMIMS Hyderabad and Amity Global Business School.

Her research interests lie at the intersection of Development Economics, Sustainable Entrepreneurship, Financial Inclusion and Behavioral Economics. Her work explores how financial development, sustainability practices, and behavioral factors influence entrepreneurial growth and economic transformation in emerging economies. Dr. Rajeev Sangal, a distinguished researcher in Machine Translation and Artificial Intelligence, has also dedicated his efforts towards Universal Human Values. Previously, he served as a Professor at IIIT Hyderabad from 2018 to 2022.

Prior to that, he held the esteemed position of being the first Director of the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, from 2013 to 2018. Furthermore, Dr. Sangal played a pivotal role in the development of IIIT Hyderabad, where he served as the Director for more than two terms from 2002 to 2013, during its establishment. Before his tenure at IIIT Hyderabad, he served as a faculty member at IIT Kanpur from 1982 to 1999. During his time at IIT Kanpur, he also served as the head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering from 1987 to 1990.

Dr. Sangal holds a BTech degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur, and he pursued his MS and Ph.D. in Computer and Information Science from the University of Pennsylvania in 1980.

In 2002, Dr. Rajeev Sangal established the Language Technologies Research Centre at IIIT-H, assuming the role of its founder-head. This center has emerged as the largest academic hub for computational linguistics (CL) and Natural Language Processing research in its respective region.

Notably, Dr. Sangal played a vital role in integrating the Universal Human Values course into the academic curriculum at IIIT-H in 2005. This course gained recognition and was subsequently adopted by numerous prominent universities in India, spanning across approximately 2000 colleges. Through an extensive training program, thousands of teachers have been equipped to teach the Universal Human Values course.

Dr. Sangal has made notable contributions to the academic community. He served as a member of the editorial board for Computational Linguistics from 2004 to 2006 and for the Computer Science and Informatics journal from 1995 to 2003. Additionally, he has held editorial positions in various journals such as Machine Translation, Natural Language Engineering, Trans. of Asian Language Processing, CSI Transactions, among others. Furthermore, he actively participates as a reviewer for esteemed conferences including ACL, COLING, IJCNLP, ICON, and more.

Michael H. Grote’s main field of research is corporate finance and capital markets with particular regard to mergers and acquisitions and private equity. In August 2009 he was appointed Vice President Teaching at the Frankfurt School. From November 2011 until March 2020 he was Vice President for Academic Affairs. He is director of the Frankfurt Institute for Private Equity and M&A. Since March 2019, Michael Grote is also one of the two presidents of the Frankfurt Institute for Risk Management and Regulation (FIRM) and a member of the Management Board of the Society for Risk Management and Regulation (Gesellschaft für Risikomanagement und Regulierung e. V.).

Before joining the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in April 2008, Michael Grote was assistant professor for mergers and acquisitions in SMEs at the Goethe-University (Frankfurt) and Metzler visiting professor for international finance at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. After receiving degrees in both Economics and Political Science from the Goethe-University he wrote his PhD thesis on the development of Frankfurt as a financial centre. He consults small and medium sized enterprises companies as well as large multinational enterprises and government agencies.

In the newly established Handelsblatt ranking 2009 for German-speaking countries Michael H. Grote is placed in the top ten percent of the most productive researchers in business administration. He has been awarded a number of teaching prizes, among them the title “Professor of the Year” in the MBA-program of the Stuttgart Institute of Management and Technology. In 2004 and 2008 he received awards for outstanding lectures at the Goethe-University, Frankfurt. In the national contest for the “Professor of the Year” (organized by KPMG and Unicum) he finished ninth place in the law, economics and business administration section in 2007.
