This specialisation blends rigorous training in economic theory, financial strategy, econometrics and data analytics with a foundation in core business education. You learn to interpret macro and micro-economic trends, analyse financial markets, and make strategic decisions in dynamic corporate and economic contexts. Students experience:

Our curriculum is built to establish strong foundations, followed by opportunities for specialisation and experiential learning.
- Duration: 3 years / 6 semesters
- Comprehensive business foundations (in finance, accounting, operations, marketing, OBHR, strategy)
- Specialization in economics and finance (with focus on Indian Economy, econometrics, game theory, corporate finance, financial accounting, banking sector, stock markets, digital marketing, ecommerce, and data analytics and visualization)
- In the near future there would be great demand among the UNICORNs (young companies with valuations exceeding US$ 1 billion) and “FAANG” of the world (Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix and Alphabet (formerly known as Google)
- 3 week international immersion in Cornell University, Ithaca, NY

| Eligibility Criteria | Mathematics as a subject in +2 level is a prerequisite for this course. Students having Economics and Statistics as supplementary subjects will have an added advantage. Good communication skills (verbal and written) will be helpful |

Programme outcomes
Building on the foundation of Mathematics and Statistics in high School, the student, at the end of the program, will have developed:
- solid knowledge in the domains of Economics and Finance
- ability to collect, interpret and analyze both primary and secondary data,
- good analytical, statistical and problem-solving skills,
- the ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders, and, in particular act as a bridge between the data scientists and industry leaders,
- decent knowledge and understanding of coding with a good grasp of programming language such as R, Python, Eviews, etc,
- the ability to make recommendations on what decisions to take based on the real time macro and micro-data
