Ms. Aditi Singh Kavia is an Assistant Professor in the School of Law at Mahindra University, with over six years of teaching experience and research interests in Intellectual Property Rights, Artificial Intelligence and Law, Human Rights, Criminal Law, and Law & Technology. She is pursuing a Ph.D. at WBNUJS Kolkata on public health surveillance and privacy, holds an LL.M. from NALSAR, has authored the book Privacy in the Era of Social Media, and has published multiple articles and book chapters on AI and copyright, traditional cultural expressions, public health surveillance and privacy, and patent rights during pandemics.

Aditi Singh Kavia

Assistant Professor

Ms. Aditi Singh Kavia is an experienced academic with over six years of teaching experience at various prestigious universities. Her research interests span Intellectual Property Rights, Artificial Intelligence and Law, Human Rights, Criminal Laws and Law and Technology. She has published articles in peer-reviewed journals and contributed chapters to books including Bloomsbury publications, focusing on topics like Artificial Intelligence and Intellectual Property Rights.

She is also the author of a book titled as Privacy in the Era of Social Media, that showcases her extensive research in the Privacy Laws. Ms. Aditi has presented her work at both national and international conferences, including at the University of Padjadjaran in Indonesia and General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University in Sri Lanka. Beyond her research, Aditi has been a resource person for guest lectures and certificate courses on Intellectual Property and Cyber Law at Amity University, Noida. She has also served as a judge for various moot court competitions, including the Phillips C Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.

As an enrolled advocate with the Bar Council of India and a member of the International Council of Jurists, Aditi is actively engaged in the legal community. Outside of academia, she is a certified Yoga Instructor and enjoys yoga in her free time.
