Announcing contribution of M&M shares by Anuradha and Anand Mahindra to Mahindra University
Hyderabad, 12 August 2026: Mahindra University has received a fresh endowment from Anuradha and Anand Mahindra, comprising shares of Mahindra & Mahindra Limited valued at approximately ₹300 crore. Together with their earlier contributions, this completes the ₹500 crore personal pledge announced by Mr. Anand Mahindra and his family in March 2024.
The endowment will strengthen the University’s infrastructure, scholarships, research, student support and academic development, supporting its vision of advancing interdisciplinary education and fostering multi-skilled, socially conscious leaders.
The Mahindra family has underscored its continued commitment to the University’s growth and its founding purpose of educating future citizens for and of a better world.
