Job Description:

1. Embedded Systems:
   • Teaching experience in courses like Embedded Systems, Microprocessors, Internet of Things, Cyber Physical Systems, and Real-time Systems is expected.
   • Expertise in designing lab exercises for both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
   • Candidates should demonstrate independent research through journal and conference publications.
2. Communications Engineering:
   • Specialization in wireless communication systems, 5G, error correction coding, or wireless networks is essential.
   • Teaching in areas like Signals and Systems, Digital Signal Processing, Communication Theory, and AI for Wireless Communication is required.
   • A strong research background is necessary.
3. VLSI:
   • Proficiency in areas like Digital VLSI Design, Analog Circuit Design, and System-on-Chip (SoC) architecture.
   • Experience in teaching courses such as VLSI Testing, Semiconductor Devices, and CAD for VLSI Design.
   • A proven ability to lead research in VLSI and collaborate on projects is expected.

Required Qualification:

• B.Tech., M. Tech., and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Communications Engineering, Embedded Systems, and VLSI or relevant area with strong academic background from a nationally or internationally reputed institution.
• Proof of active research through recent publications in journals of repute and conference attendance.
• Desirable to have proof of previous funding from GoI organizations.
• Candidates with practical experience, industry or otherwise, will be preferred.

Additional responsibilities: apart from teaching, the faculty members have the following responsibilities:

• Conducting research and guiding Ph.D. students.
• Guiding project work for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• To take part in various accreditation and academic auditing processes related to different programs of the department e.g. to prepare documents required for NACC, NIRF, NBA, UGC etc.
• To take part in various administrative and academic activities of the department and university.
