Ranjan Pant

CEO Advisor, ex-Bain

He is the son of K. C. Pant and grandson of legendary Indian freedom fighter Bharat Ratna Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant.

He earned a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering Honours degree from BITS Pilani and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

In early professional life, Mr Pant joined Bain & Co as a Management Consultant and later moved as Director of Corporate Business Development at the General Electric headquarters in Fairfield. After that, he rejoined Bain as a Partner leading the global energy and utilities practice.

Mr Pant has also served as an Executive in Residence at Babson College and is a charter member of TiE. He has also long been member of the jury panel for K C Mahindra Education Trust scholarships for post graduate studies for Indian students. In year 2019, Ranjan was appointed to the Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM-Indore).
