Graphic Designer – Branding & Communication

 Role Summary

The Graphic Designer – Branding & Communication will be responsible for creating high-quality visual communication that strengthens the University’s brand presence across print and digital platforms. The role supports pan-India outreach initiatives through effective campaign design, brand consistency, and collaborative execution with internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop creatives for print and digital platforms including brochures, posters, flyers, banners, newsletters, presentations, social media creatives, digital advertisements, and campaign assets.
  • Create visually compelling designs aligned with the University’s brand identity, communication goals, and positioning.
  • Design, adapt, and manage logos, sub-brand identities, and other brand assets as per institutional requirements.
  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and visual consistency across all creative deliverables.
  • Ensure strict adherence to the University’s brand guidelines across all communication materials and act as a brand custodian.
  • Support the development, refinement, and documentation of brand guidelines for internal teams and external partners.
  • Collaborate closely with branding, marketing, admissions, academics, and other internal stakeholders to understand design requirements and timelines.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, vendors, and printers to ensure timely delivery and quality output.
  • Clearly communicate design concepts, ideas, and creative rationale, and incorporate feedback constructively while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Supervise and provide guidance, feedback, and quality checks.
  • Support process improvements and workflow efficiencies within the design function.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in graphic design, tools, and emerging creative platforms, including AI-based design tools.
  • Manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of creativity and detail.

Tools & Software

  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and CorelDRAW
  • Working knowledge of Canva and AI-based design tools

  • Strong visual design, typography, layout, and color sensibility
  • Excellent conceptualization, creativity, and attention to detail
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Good time management, team player and ability to handle multiple projects
  • High accountability, adaptability, and continuous improvement mindset

Qualifications & Experience

Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field

5–7 years of relevant experience in branding, marketing, or creative roles

Experience in education or institutional branding will be an added advantage
