Tatheer Fatima is an Assistant Professor at the School of Law, Mahindra University, currently pursuing her Ph.D. at National Law University, Delhi. A BA LL.B (Hons) graduate from Jamia Millia Islamia with an LL.M from NLSIU Bengaluru, her interests include cyber laws, business laws, fintech and blockchain, and she is presently working on regulation of blockchain and cryptocurrencies.

Tatheer Fatima

Assistant Professor

Tatheer Fatima is an Assistant Professor at the School of Law, Mahindra University. She is pursuing her Ph.D. at National Law University, Delhi. She completed her graduation from the Faculty of Law, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, in 2018. Further, she holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from NLSIU. Her areas of interest include Cyber Laws, Business Laws, FinTech and Blockchain.

  • Co-authored a chapter entitled “Access to justice for Female Prisoners” in the book “Crime against Women and Law Relating to Welfare and protection of Women”, Bharti Publications (2020).
  • Co-authored a blog post entitled “De-encrypting Crypto: (Plain old) Jamtara or White Hat?” to the ‘National Law School Business Law Review’ website.
  • Contributed to the Panel Discussion proceedings for the Asia-Pacific (Online) Panel Discussion on Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies, published by the Indian Journal of Law and Technology.
