Dr. Vegitha Reddy is an Associate Professor of Law at Mahindra University School of Law since February 2016, specializing in Philosophy of Science, Logic, and Philosophical Logic. ​ She holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from IIT Bombay (2015) on "Philosophical Arguments: A Meta-Analysis," plus an M.Phil. and M.A. from University of Hyderabad, a B.E. in Civil Engineering, and has directed the award-nominated film Spandan (2012).

Vegitha Reddy

Associate Professor

Dr. Vegitha Reddy is a Associate Professor of Law at Mahindra University, School of Law. Her area of specialization includes Philosophy of Science, Logic, and Philosophical Logic. Dr. Vegitha directed & produced a feature film – Spandan (2012). Thematically it raised ethical, social, and economic concerns of our times by narrating a story of young parents and their daughter afflicted with Cerebral Palsy. She was nominated for the Gollapudi Srinivas National Award for the Best debutant Director in 2012.

Dr. Reddy completed her Ph.D. in Philosophy from Indian Institute of Technology – Bombay in the year 2015 with her Dissertation Titled ‘Philosophical Arguments: A Meta-Analysis’.
