Dr. Rahul Dass is a Professor at Mahindra University with nearly three decades of experience, including about 25 years as a full-time journalist with leading Indian media houses such as Hindustan Times, The Statesman, Indo‑Asian News Service (IANS), and The Tribune. He holds a Ph.D. on challenges of terrorism to the peace process in India (CCSU Meerut), an M.A. in Political Science, and a B.A. (Hons) in Journalism from the University of Delhi. His research lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence and mass communication; he has authored three books (including one on mobile journalism), edited a volume on AI and media, law and marketing, and co‑filed six interdisciplinary patents on AI‑driven storytelling and news analytics.

His research interest lies at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Mass Communication. He has authored three books, including one on Mobile Journalism. He is editor of a book on AI and media, law and marketing. He has co-filed six inter-disciplinary patents that push the frontiers of storytelling.
