Dr. Akella VR Srinivas, the Registrar, brings a wealth of strategic vision and operational excellence to his role, driving the university’s administrative and academic management toward global standards. He holds a Ph.D. from Bharathiar University, awarded in 2014, anchoring his deep understanding of higher education frameworks.
Dr. Srinivas has had an impressive career journey filled with leading critical administrative, strategic, and operational areas at globally recognized institutes of higher learning. With a professional journey spanning more than two decades, he is known for successfully managing complex educational ecosystems and fostering institutional growth.
Before joining Mahindra University, Dr. Srinivas held a global leadership role at S P Jain School of Global Management, with responsibilities spanning campuses in Sydney, Singapore, and Dubai. Served as Deputy Chairman of the Examination Board and as a Member of the Academic Board. Before that impactful tenure, he honed his leadership expertise through NMIMS and the Indian School of Business (ISB) in Hyderabad. His academic and professional interests range from social entrepreneurship in the education sector to advanced technology integration in education management.
