Aditi Nidhi

Dr. Aditi Nidhi is an Assistant Professor at the School of Law, Mahindra University, Hyderabad, a position she has held since July 2023. She holds a Ph.D. from Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar (2024), an LL.M. from Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur, and a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow. She qualified the UGC-NET examination in 2016. Over more than nine years, she has taught at the School of Law, Christ (Deemed to be University), Bangalore and Lavasa-Pune, and at ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad, before joining Mahindra University. Her teaching and research interests include International Environmental Law, Environmental Law, Banking Law, Legal Methods, Law of Contract-I, and Research Methodology, with particular research focus on climate governance, water law, biodiversity, intellectual property, and human rights. She has authored numerous papers in Web of Science (WoS), SCOPUS-indexed and UGC-CARE journals and edited volumes, edited several books and conference proceedings and presented her research at national and international conferences across India and abroad. She has also served in several academic and administrative capacities, including as Programme Coordinator, IQAC committee member, and reviewer for several SCOPUS-indexed journals, and holds memberships of the International Society of Public Law (ICON•S) and the Global Alliance for Justice Education (GAJE).

Dr. Nidhi’s research focuses on International Environmental Law, Banking Law, Legal Methods, Law of Contract-I and Research Methodology. Her current work spans climate governance and administrative law, water law and inter-river water disputes, biodiversity conservation and indigenous rights, intellectual property law and human rights in the context of health, gender and emerging technologies. She has published in SCOPUS and Web of Science (WoS)-indexed journals and contributed to edited volumes with publishers including Routledge, Bloomsbury and Springer Nature and regularly presents her research at national and international conferences.
