Dr. Yayati Gupta is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence at Mahindra University. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from IIT Ropar and is actively engaged in research and innovative teaching. She has contributed to popular NPTEL courses such as *Joy of Computing with Python* and *Social Networks*, which are among the most enrolled courses on the platform. Her research has been published in core-ranked conferences, and she has taught subjects including Theory of Computation, Object-Oriented Programming, Operating Systems, and Social Computing. She is particularly interested in integrating modern teaching technologies to create interactive and Gen Z–friendly learning experiences.

Yayati Gupta
Assistant Professor
Dr. Yayati Gupta is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science & Engineering Department at Mahindra University École Centrale School of Engineering. She is also an instructor for a couple of NPTEL/SWAYAM courses (Social Networks, Joy of Computing).
She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (November 2017). Her research primarily focuses on Social Network Analysis and Complex Networks. The major research projects include “Modeling Information Diffusion” and “Understanding Virality of Internet Memes” in online social networks.
