Dr. Mahesh Chowdary Kongara is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Mahindra University. His research interests include Edge–Fog–Cloud Computing, Soft Computing, Wireless Sensor Networks, and the Internet of Things. He completed his M.Tech. and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the NIT Goa. He has published several journal articles and conference papers and authored a book on evolutionary algorithms for performance optimization in wireless sensor networks.

Mahesh Chowdary Kongara
Assistant Professor
Dr. Mahesh Chowdary Kongara is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Mahindra University’s École Centrale School of Engineering. He received his M.Tech. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Goa. His research interests include Edge–Fog–Cloud Computing, Soft Computing, Wireless Sensor Networks, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
His research focuses on developing intelligent and efficient computational frameworks for task offloading, resource allocation, workflow scheduling, and performance optimization in distributed computing environments. He is particularly interested in leveraging soft computing and evolutionary optimization techniques to address complex decision-making challenges in edge–fog–cloud infrastructures and IoT-enabled systems. His work aims to enhance system performance, energy efficiency, scalability, and quality of service for emerging smart applications, including smart cities and intelligent sensing environments.
