Sidharth Tripathi

Assistant Professor

Prof. Sidharth Tripathi holds a Ph.D. in Marketing Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode. His research focuses on interpersonal persuasion in business-to-consumer selling, salesperson-customer dynamics, and knowledge processes in the sales context. Methodologically, his work spans theory-driven experiments, survey-based process research, and evidence synthesis, including meta-analytic approaches.
His teaching interests include Marketing Management, Sales Management, Services Marketing, and Customer Relationship Management, and he is committed to an applied, evidence-based pedagogy that integrates conceptual rigor with managerial relevance. He is also a recipient of the NASMEI Research Grant 2025.
He brings nearly eight years of industry experience in sales and business development in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector, with unique exposure to private (ICICI Bank, Axis Bank) and public banking (SBI) and capital-market institutions (National Stock Exchange), giving him first-hand insight into high-stakes, trust-intensive, and information-asymmetric market environments and enriching his scholarship and classroom engagement with real-world managerial insights.
