Assistant Professor
Dr. Soham Chakraborty is associated with the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Mahindra University. He completed his Ph.D. in Literature and Cultural Studies from IIT Madras in 2025 and brings experience in both academia and industry, including classroom and NPTEL teaching at IIT Madras and over three years of professional experience as a Technical Writer at Oracle India Pvt. Ltd. His research interests include Affect Theory, Literature, Cognition and Embodiment, Postcolonial Literatures, African Literatures, Critical Theory, and Cultural Studies. His published work explores themes of affect, embodiment, allyship, and selfhood in postcolonial and African literary texts.
