Sowmini Devi Veeramachaneni

Assistant Professor

Dr. Sowmini Devi Veeramachaneni is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Mahindra University. She received her Ph.D. and master’s degree in computer science from the University of Hyderabad. 

Her research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Recommender Systems, Transfer Learning, Data Analytics, and Optimization Techniques. Her work focuses on developing intelligent data-driven solutions that can effectively learn from limited, sparse, or incomplete information and support better decision-making in real-world applications. She has worked extensively in the areas of recommender systems and machine learning, with a particular interest in knowledge transfer across domains and predictive analytics.  

Dr. Sowmini has published her work in international journals and conferences. She is interested in developing practical machine learning solutions for real-world applications.
