Mahindra University invites applications for an Assistant Manager/Coordinator – Student Engagement & Initiatives to lead student engagement programs, coordinate annual events, and support the effective functioning of student clubs and the student council.

1. Assistant Manager – Student Engagement & Initiatives

Lead and oversee student events, student clubs and institutional events. Develop strategies and programs that enhance student engagement, participation and holistic development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage student engagement initiatives and annual event calendars.
  • Supervise student clubs, council and related programs.
  • Coordinate major institutional events, orientations and campus activities.
  • Manage communications and social media related to student activities.
  • Manage budgets, reports, policies and program assessments.
  • Supervise and mentor the Student Engagement Coordinator.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and networking abilities.
  • Program planning, execution and project management skills.
  • Budget management and report-writing skills.
  • Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in higher education, student affairs, program management or related fields.

2. Coordinator – Student Engagement & Initiatives

Support the implementation and administration of student engagement programs, campus events, student communications and club activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate logistics for student programs, workshops, and events.
  • Support student clubs and maintain participation records.
  • Maintain databases, reports and feedback records.
  • Provide administrative support to the Office of Student Initiatives & Engagement/Campus Engagement Cell.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Event coordination and administrative support skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) with 0–3 years of relevant experience. Strong organizational, communication and coordination skills.
