Sarthak Mohapatra

Assistant Professor

Sarthak Mohapatra is an Assistant Professor in the School of Management at Mahindra University, specializing in Marketing. He completed his PhD in Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta in 2025 and holds an MBA and B.Tech degree. His research interests include subsistence marketplaces, critical theory, market ethics, spirituality, and marketplace dignity.

Prior to joining Mahindra University, he worked as a Teaching Assistant for courses including Marketing Management, Marketing to Bottom-of-the-Pyramid Consumers, and Managing Luxury Business. He has also gained industry and social sector experience through internships at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Society for Rural Integrated and Youth Association (non-profit), SIMPLEX, and the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI).
