Staff Positions
Mahindra University invites applications for the position of Web Developer, seeking candidates with strong expertise in WordPress development, custom themes and plugins, front-end technologies, API integrations, and website optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance WordPress websites.
- Build custom themes, plugins, and Gutenberg blocks.
- Develop responsive interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, SCSS/SASS, JavaScript(ES6+), and jQuery.
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
- Manage PHP/MySQL-based functionalities.
- Optimize website performance, security, SEO, and Core Web Vitals.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and support website deployments.
Required Skills
WordPress, PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS/SASS, JavaScript(ES6+), jQuery, ACF, WooCommerce, REST APIs, Git/GitHub, npm, and Webpack.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant WordPress, PHP, or Front-End Development certifications will be an added advantage.
