An academician…Before this, she was employed at NALSAR University of Law as a Research Associate at the Centre for Aerospace and Defense Laws (CADL). Ms. Jasti has organized numerous seminars, webinars and conferences on various subjects throughout her tenure at NALSAR. Topics that have been explored include the prospects of the transportation, aviation, and space sectors in the future, as well as the impact of COVID-19 on the Indian aviation industry.

She graduated with a gold medal from Osmania University’s Padala Rama Reddi Law College with a law degree (B.A. LL.B.) After that, she attended the University of Glasgow in the United Kingdom to earn her Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) in International Law and International Security. Additionally, she holds a Master of Arts degree in Security and Defense Laws from NALSAR University of Law, in addition to a Post Graduate Diploma in Cyber Laws. She is currently working on her doctoral dissertation on the legislation/regulations that pertain to cybersecurity in the maritime industry.

Before joining NALSAR, she had worked and was affiliated with D. Prakash Reddy, a designated Senior Advocate, and former Advocate General of Telangana, with principle practice at the High Court of Telangana. Currently, she also provides advice to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in the agricultural sector, assists human resources departments of software companies, and is actively involved in the preparation of agreements and contracts pertaining to employment, sales, and other related matters.

Dr. Nidhi Goyal is Assistant professor in the Department of CSE at Ecole Centrale School of Engineering. She has completed her Ph.D (CSE) from IIIT-Delhi. She has received the prestigious Prime Minister Fellowship for Doctoral Research (PMRF-DR) while working in collaboration with Naukri.com. She is a recipient of ACM India Anveshan Setu Fellowship during her PhD. She has been selected among 50 young Indian and International researchers for ACM Pingala interactions in computing, February, 2024. This event is hosted by Infosys Mysore Campus. She is also IRM certified Global Level 1 Professional on Enterprise Risk Management.

Her Ph.D. research focused on devising novel frameworks for content quality detection (low, ambiguous, fraud, off-topic, inconsistent, incomplete content) on online professional networks and using AI for enterprise, specifically towards real-world applications in recruitment and knowledge sharing domain.

She is also Principal Investigator, Building Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCIs) using deep generative models (2024-2026) funded by Mahindra University, Hyderabad (2024-2026).

Sridip S. Nambiar has over ten years of experience in legal academia. He completed his B.A., LL. B. (H) from National University for Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS), Kochi, where he was on the editorial board of NUALS law review and was a nominated member of their Moot Court Society. After a brief stint at Desai & Diwanji, Mumbai’s general corporate team, he went on to pursue LL.M. at Indian Law Institute (ILI), Delhi. He was awarded the gold medal for being the topper at ILI, where he majored in criminal law and human rights. He was awarded Ph.D. in law at NUALS. He began his academic career with Amity Law School, Delhi and later joined NMIMS Hyderabad as one of its founding faculty members, where he was faculty co-ordinator at the Centre for Criminal Law and Policy. Before joining Mahindra University, she taught at other universities of repute in India, such as KIIT University, Bhubaneswar; Nirma University, Ahmedabad; and Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar.

She holds a Ph.D. from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, where her research focused on space disputes and the development of effective dispute settlement mechanisms, encompassing both contractual and non-contractual disputes. Her commitment to academic excellence is further demonstrated by the numerous scholarships she has received, including a full scholarship from The Hague Academy of International Law, The Netherlands, and the International Institute of Humanitarian Law, Italy, for their courses on international law.

Dr Kakkar is also a Certified Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Trainer from SHRM. She continues to make significant contributions to both academic and professional fields of law, thereby shaping the future of space law, education, and policy.
