Academic structure

Our faculty combines academic depth with real-world expertise, guiding students through both fundamental theory and applied innovation.

  • Credit structure:
    Basic sciences (47 credits), basic engineering (28 credits), humanities, social & creative sciences (15 credits), enterprise sciences (10 credits).
  • Departments offer core and elective courses, labs, projects, and workshops. For example, in computer science engineering (CSE), there are ~11 departmental core courses (40 credits), plus ~5 electives (≈15 credits) covering areas like network computing, embedded systems, graphics & interfaces, information security, data mining, and machine learning.
  • Total course duration: 4 years / 8 semesters
  • Core vs professional phases: The first two years constitute the “Core Program,” and the last two years the “Professional Program,” with electives introduced in the latter phase.

Yes, hostel stay is mandatory for all B.Tech students.

JEE (Main), SAT (Subject / general), ACT. For some specialisations, particularly Biotechnology or Integrated options, additional PCB scores (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) may be required.

Yes, applicants through the SAT /ACT and, for certain specialisations, will undergo a technical & aptitude-based interview.

Yes, all fees (academic, hostel, etc.) are subject to annual revision.
