    The School of Media will commence academic sessions from 2022 by offering a unique interdisciplinary Bachelors of Technology program in Computation and Media that is at the intersection of information science and technology and the social sciences. In 2023, the School will launch a bachelor’s program in digital media and communication and another in journalism.

    The School seeks to prepare a new generation of professionals, technologists, researchers and entrepreneurs for storytelling in the digital age. The programs incorporate a rigorous curriculum blending theory and applied learning with an emphasis on new and emerging technologies.     • Install the licenses on the license server
    • Maintain the software and hardware in the lab and update the system as and when necessary.

  • Applications are invited for a Junior Research Fellow position for a project funded by Ministry of Defence, at Mahindra University, Hyderabad. This is in an interdisciplinary area overlapping Numerical Simulations and Machine Learning. The prospective candidate should be an M.E / M.Tech from a reputed institution in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, with a good background in Computational Fluid Dynamics. Some background in Machine Learning will be a strong plus; candidates without this background will be appropriately trained on the job.

    The selected candidate will be working in a Research & Development role in the area of Physics Informed Neural Networks. The candidate will be encouraged to register and work concurrently towards a Ph.D. degree in an interdisciplinary area covering Fluid Dynamics and Deep Learning. The project duration is three years but the student can continue till completion of work leading to doctoral thesis. Remuneration will be at Rs. 25K per month plus free boarding and lodging at hostels in the Mahindra University campus.

    The student will operate from the Ecole Centrale School of Engineering (ECSE) of Mahindra University. ECSE is the first school of the University and has research collaboration with the Ecole Centrale Group of Institutions in France. This project will provide opportunities for collaborative work with Nvidia as well as with premier Space and Defence Research Institutions in India.

    • Recent advances in image-based computational fluid dynamics
    • Have enabled detailed study of hemodynamics in the heart and major blood vessels for patients with cardiovascular diseases and aneurysms. Such studies can offer key insights into disease progression and subsequent site-specific drug delivery.
