This course provides students with a strong foundation in Economics and Finance while preparing them to operate in a digitalized world. After they graduate, students can either opt for higher studies in India or abroad or take up employment in any of a wide range of industries such as banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI), consulting, research, data analytics, fast-moving consumer goods, healthcare, retail (both online and offline), and manufacturing.

Who should take this program?
  • Students with PCM majors
  • Those majoring in Commerce with Mathematics as a subject, and/or students specializing in Economics and Statistics with Mathematics as a subject
  • Useful to those students who aspire to join Masters and PhD degrees in economics, finance and related fields
Program outcomes
  • Solid knowledge in the domain of economics and finance,
  • Ability to collect, interpret and analyze both primary and secondary data,
  • Good analytical, statistical and problem-solving skills,
  • The ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders, and, in particular act as a bridge between the data scientists and industry leaders,
  • Decent knowledge and understanding of coding with a good grasp of programming language such as R, Python, Eviews, etc,
  • The ability to make recommendations on what decisions to take based on the real time macro and micro-data.
Important Details
Eligibility Criteria
  • 10+2 or equivalent from any statutory board with 80% OR equivalent grade for the students from IB or other approved Board.
  • Students with valid SAT Scores or Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam Score will also be considered for admission (however these scores are not mandatory)
  • Followed by Panel Interview for Shortlisted candidates.
  • Mathematics as a subject in +2 level is manadatory.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) will be helpful.

Tuition Fee INR 2.5 Lacs/Annum tuition fee; food, accommodation and international immersion will be extra
