Faculty position in Transportation Engineering

Mahindra University Invites applications for the Faculty position in Transportation Engineering.

Basic Qualifications:

Ph.D. and Master’s in Transportation Engineering
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum first class or equivalent.

Required expertise areas:

• Connected and autonomous vehicles (CAV), V2X communications and their integration with transport infrastructure
• Applications of Internet of Things (IoT), Big-Data analytics, and Cyber physical systems in Transportation
• AI and ML applications including the use of sensors for transportation infrastructure monitoring and safety enhancement
• GIS for data driven sustainable urban street infrastructure planning and design

Required / Desirable skills:

• The faculty is expected to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the relevant discipline
• Must have demonstrated interest in any one of the specific areas mentioned below as evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals
• Should be interested in writing research projects and collaborating with industry partners.
