Key Responsibilities:

Student Accounting & Fee Management:

  • Manage all aspects of student accounting, including processing fee payments, refunds, and reconciliations.
  • Interact with students and parents to address queries related to fee payments and receipts.
  • Coordinate with banks to resolve issues related to unidentified receipts and ensure proper accounting of the same.

Internal Coordination:

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders such as the Registrar’s Office, Student Affairs, and Admissions Team to ensure timely and accurate accounting of student fee collections.
  • Collaborate with various departments to streamline financial processes related to student fees and other miscellaneous collections.

Financial Reporting & MIS:

  • Prepare and manage monthly MIS reports related to student fee collections and other related financial data.
  • Ensure timely closure of accounting entries related to student fee collections and other financial transactions.

Audit & Compliance:

  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary information and support for the smooth conduct of audits.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures.

Miscellaneous Fee Accounting:

  • Review and account for miscellaneous fees related to student activities and other services.
  • Ensure proper documentation and tracking of all financial transactions related to miscellaneous fees.

Technology & Process Improvement:

  • Leverage ERP systems to manage student fee collections and financial transactions efficiently.
  • Utilize Microsoft Tools for data analysis, reporting, and process automation.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of efficient financial workflows.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Postgraduate in Commerce (M.Com) / MBA with Finance, or Semi-qualified CA/ICWA.
  • 5 to 7 years of post-qualification experience in accounting and finance.
  • Prior experience in an educational institution or similar environment.
  • Exposure to ERP systems, especially in managing financial transactions and reporting.
  • Experience in coordinating with auditors and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
