At the India Global Innovation Connect 2025, Dr Shashidhar Nanjundaiah, Dean at the School of Digital Media and Communication- Mahindra University, highlighted that in an AI-driven world, learning must evolve from merely absorbing information to building intuition and deeper understanding.

He emphasised that AI should complement, not replace, the human pursuit of knowledge and that technology must be designed with inclusion, access and social continuity in mind.

As disruptive innovation accelerates, he argued that governments must play a vital role in ensuring smooth societal transitions, making education more interdisciplinary, experiential and purpose-driven.
