Mahindra University has been inducted into the Babson Collaborative Circle of Influence—a prestigious recognition at the Babson Collaborative Global Summit 2025, hosted at EDC Paris Business School.

Dr. Rajkumar Phatate, Professor and Head, Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI), has been awarded ‘Member of the Year 2025’ and inducted as an Advisor to the Babson Collaborative.

This honour reflects Mahindra University’s commitment to nurturing innovative, impact-driven leaders and Dr. Phatate’s outstanding contribution to global entrepreneurship education.

Dr. Amir Reza, Dean of the Babson Academy and Global Education at Babson College, said, “Dr. Rajkumar Phatate has been an invaluable member of the Babson Collaborative, consistently demonstrating his commitment to advancing entrepreneurship education and his dedication to the mission and values of the Collaborative. We are thrilled to recognize his outstanding contributions, volunteer service, and active participation with the 2025 Member of the Year Award, as well as his induction onto the Advisory Board. We are also delighted to welcome Mahindra University into the Circle of Influence, a reflection of the demonstrated collaboration, engagement, impact and leadership of Dr. Phatate and other members of the Mahindra community.”

With over 70 educators from 21 countries, the summit explored collaborative strategies to advance entrepreneurial thinking through global teaching practices, research, and cross-border partnerships.
