A high-impact interdisciplinary Symposium on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology was organized by the Department of Chemistry, School of Natural Sciences.
Engaging discussions were held with leading scientists from academia and industry through flash talks, poster sessions, and discussions exploring nanoscience’s game-changing role in materials, healthcare, energy, and technology.
Featured Talks:
Prof. R. Chandrasekar (UoH): On Mechanophotonics and organic photonic integrated circuits—leveraging nano/micro crystals to revolutionise light manipulation in devices.
Dr. Archan Dey (Dr. Reddy’s): Particle sizing in complex drug formulations using Dynamic Light Scattering and correlative validation techniques.
Dr. Sai Rama Krishna Malladi (IIT-H): In-situ TEM studies for visualising nanoscale phenomena in liquids using MEMS and 2D materials.
Dr. Ravi C. Gundakaram (ARCI): Multiscale materials characterisation focusing on ODS steels and TiAlN-based nanocoatings for nuclear and tribological applications.
Dr. Shourya Dutta Gupta (IIT-H): In-situ optical spectroscopy to track real-time nanoparticle assembly and anisotropic growth dynamics.
